TX2K6 is going on in houston right now, and myself, nazeer (nazeer houston), and Ali (Shift_TheDarkside) decided to go to the meet last nite...there were at least 50 Supras and a total of about 200 cars or so, no rice at all...TT vettes, supercharged vipers, porsches, 350Z's, mustangs, camaros, m3s, wrx's, etc, you get the point...it seemed like you werent allowed unless you had some kind of forced induction...and trust me, i had major turbo envy last nite...i knew there is 1 or 2 skylines in houston but i've never seen them, and i was expecting them to be out, but they werent at the main meet...i also sidnt expect there to be this many cars, but it was a nice surprise...the lighting was really crappy at the main meet...i took more pics, but a lot came out shitty...i took some vids, but they didnt come out that great...here are some pics that came out our Z's

so then like 7-8 Supras leave the main meet to road race and go elsewhere...we follow to see where they are headed...we are out in the middle of no where...they were doing highway pulls and this is my attempt to stay close to the Supras and Z's...i was the only car in this pack without some kind of turbo...its the middle of the night so the freeways are really empty, not that i was attempting to race anyways...i was just trying to stay within 1/2 mile of these guys
 so we pull into an academy parking lot and the first thing i see is this...i get a huge smile on my face...i've never seen one in person and couldnt believe it 
the guy said he paid "six figures" for it and said it put down 650rwhp...apparently, he has more than one also...this car was easliy the highlight of my night...and it was drawing a crowd like no other (good thing he didnt come to the original meet, or he would have been mobbed) 
another high hp Supra, and there were plenty of these...i was curious how much of this hp is actually usable tho...but was nice nonetheless
 
at like 3:30 in the morn, a couple Supras and Porsches start to head out...everyone knows they are gonna run...i jumped in the Ali's Z to follow...this 2nd meet had about 40-50 cars and before you knew it, the entire lot was leaving and heading to the freeway...i had never seen anything like this before, it was pretty crazy...it was the absolute middle of the night and the beltway was empty so, it was like 4 lanes..so i'm trying to take video of this Porsche and stick my head out the passenger window, and i didnt even think about it, but my hat goes off flying into the night (i drove by later but never found my hat, and it was a really sweet hat)...the group got split into 2-3 groups because we hit a toll...it was kinda funny, because we got split, there was now a lot of room and the cars were just lining up against whoever they could find that was next to them and running... Nazeer happened to come across the silver Porsche GT2, lol...i'll let him tell you what happened... anyways, it was a really fun night...it was amazing to see so many really quick cars all in one place...also couldnt believe how much $$$ is invested these cars...the night left me in total turbo and hp envy...we were there representing the Z's, i only wish more came out....hope you enjoyed
